| The Pfrunger Ried lies ca. 25km southwest of the Federsee. considerable collections from amateur surface surveys indicate a significant occupation in the Late Paleolithic, Early Mesolithic, and Neolithic. Our surveys located a number of new sites, and excavations were carried out at two of these, Lindenhof and WD-25. |
