The Peopling of the Globe 2 - Introduction

This assignment illustrates the phenomenal spread of humanity over the face of the globe near the end of the Pleistocene. Rather than just showing you the spread of anatomically modern peoples, the information is presented in four comparative animations. One shows the maximum extent of Australopithecine habitation, one the spread of Homo erectus , one the spread of Archaic forms of Homo sapiens , and the last illustrates the spread of anatomically modern Homo sapiens sapiens .
