California Workshop for Evolutionary Social Sciences (CWESS) will hold its 12th annual meeting at UCSB, May 4-6, 2018. For more info about C-WESS, see: http://c-wess.com/
Since the inaugural meeting in 2007, this conference has been guided by a single, unifying goal: to maximize familiarity and opportunity for interaction among the greater California community investigating human behavior from an evolutionary perspective. This small meeting emphasizes discussion and collegiality, and celebrates our points of convergence and divergence. Collectively, California is home to the largest community of scholars working in this area, and is characterized by a diversity of approaches and areas of expertise. The program typically includes faculty, postdocs, and graduate students from Berkeley, Cal Poly SLO, Chapman, CSU Fullerton, Stanford, UCD, UCLA, and UCSB. We welcome all familiar and new faces to the 2018 meeting!
