Allison was recently presented with the 2013 Undergraduate Ethnobiologist Award at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Ethnobiology Meetings in Denton, Texas.  This was a competitive award given to the applicant with the best idea for increasing student involvement and participation in the Society.
