Biography:

I am from Salt Lake City, Utah, where I got my undergraduate degree while conducting research on male reproductive skew in Bornean and Sumatran orangutans using genomic analysis. After graduating I spent two months at the Uaso Ngiro Baboon Project in Laikipia, Kenya, studying how the baboons incorporate a species of invasive cactus into their diets. When I am not working on school or research, I enjoy hiking, camping, and playing violin.
