Registration is open for our "Amazonia Now: Perspectives on a Region in Crisis" conference, which will take place from Nov. 16-19, through zoom. The conference focuses on current issues facing the people and environment of the Amazon, with perspectives from scholars, indigenous leaders, and activists from Latin America, particularly Brazil, and the US. "Amazonia Now" is hosted by Florida State University and co-organized by UCSB Anthropology, UC-Davis, and Harvard. See the website for more information and to register.
